Information Sessions:
We invite your Residents Committee to contact the Secretary to plan a presentation on TARRV for residents in the 2026-27 year. TARRV is currently in communication with Government to seek a full review of The Retirement Villages Act 2004 and to work with CBOS to implement an education seminar for operators of retirement villages to ensure that all parties understand the law and work together to improve the industry for the future.

2026 AGM
The 2026 Annual General Meeting for members of TARRV is planned for Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 .
Venues: Kings Meadows Lions Club, Merino St. Kings Meadows
and
Queen Victoria Care- The White House- 13 Milford,st Lindisfarne 7015 .The meeting will be relayed by Zoom ( Link advised by the Secretary to members of TARRV)This meeting will elect a new Committee for the 2026-27 year. A Special General Meeting will follow to pass proposed changes to the TARRV Constitution. The Committee has revised the Constitution and proposed changes to make the organisation acceptable for consideration as a charity and to register it as a tax deductible gift recipient.
